Lucas Charlie Rose's multi-cultural background shines in GENDERF*CKBOI, the black trans artist's sophomore album.
Borrowing elements from French and American hip-hop, West African music, R&B and even Jazz, Lucas delivers an intimate self-portrait as vulnerable as it is resilient, pushing the boundaries of trap music as we know it. From his not-so-subtle French accent to his intriguingly unique voice, one thing is certain: Lucas's passion is contagious. It shines through every single beat and every single rhyme, taking the listener on self-redefining journey.
